Tends to resist a blow out and puts in a thin line that is consistent, as HELL. can rock through the middle details of a illustrative piece against a straight 7- hollow 8 and the line weight and consistency of the combo tingles me deep my plums. Super precise and nice clean lines! Ideal for lettering, as well as stipple work. I'll use a bold 9 or 11, and detail with the hella fine 5 liners.

this is definitely my favourite needle of all time - so much more consistent than any single i have ever used, and so much easier to work with. i am a handpoke artist and black claw needles have made my work significantly faster and cleaner, especially projects with fine lines and lots of stipple shading. thank you!!!
The hella fine liners are the best. You get the extra stability that you want to have when pulling tight lines. Definitely helps.
Very pleased with the quality and consistency of these needles. I’m fond of the hella fine series, but the hollow groupings are great when you absolutely need the fattest line.
